Partial clustering and visualization

Abstract:
We discuss a method for producing simplicial complexes from point cloud data, which has proved useful in a number of situations. The method can be regarded as a hybrid between clustering on the one hand and more geometric methods such as MDS on the other. Numerous examples will be given.
