SAMSI-FODAVA Workshop

The SAMSI-FODAVA Workshop on Interactive Visualization and Analysis of Massive Data will be held on December 10-12, 2012.

The objective of this joint workshop from SAMSI and FODAVA is a collaboration effort among many fields (Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Science and Engineering, Computer Science, and Visualization) to come up with solutions for massive scale data and visual analytics. As shown on the SAMSI webpage, this workshop will focus on investigating "the mathematical, statistical, and algorithmic issues in efficient representation and transformation of data, scalable and dynamic algorithms for real time interaction, visual representation in limited screen space, performing evaluations, and applications."
